Julep’s Onboarding Journey
7 Steps to Success
With Julep’s streamlined onboarding process, you’ll be ready to go in two weeks or less. The Julep onboarding process typically ranges from 1-14 business days with an average of 10 days from the point of data transfer. Our expert Onboarding Specialist will guide you through this process and be available to answer questions. You can also download a PDF version of this journey that includes additional details.
Step 1: Meet Your Dedicated Onboarding Team (1 Day)
Our account executives will introduce you to a dedicated Onboarding Specialist. This person will serve as the primary contact, manage your conversion plan, and keep you updated on progress made.
Step 2: Develop a Conversion & Implementation Plan (1-2 Days)
Once your onboarding specialist receives your data, a detailed data conversion plan will be developed and shared for organizations transferring from another CRM, MS Excel, or another data management system.
Step 3: Set Up Your Donor Database (1-2 Days)
Your organization’s new donor database will be created within one business day. If opting to use Anedot, the integration will be set up the following business day to provide seamless continuance of incoming digital donations.

Step 4: Convert and Import Your Organization’s Data (3-5 Days)
Once data is received, the Conversion Specialist will work with programmers, review the data, follow up with any questions, recommend data hygiene, and check your new database for accuracy.
Step 5: User Account Set Up and Customization
Since Julep includes unlimited users, we will work with you to develop a plan for user groups and access. It’s possible to give everyone in your organization a username, from executive director to volunteer, and control what features and data they can access to protect your data and Julep settings.
Step 6: Select Optional Add-on Services
If you decide to have additional integrations with Anedot, Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, or WealthEngine, your Conversion Specialist will work to set these up. You can also opt-in to enhancements to your donor data including NCOA processing, deceased record identification, phone number append, a demographic analysis of your data, and more.
Step 7: Discover the Julep Training Suite
All subscription levels include a personalized Welcome Training for all members of your organization. You also have access to recorded webinars and the “Getting Started” series on the Julep Helpdesk, and free monthly webinars for training.
